Why Choose Porcelain Tiles?
Porcelain is a hard, dense, non-porous material that is perfect for bathroom floors, mudrooms, and other surfaces that need to be stain and water-resistant. It is incredibly versatile when it comes to design, allowing you to match it to your decor. Porcelain is very popular for many reasons:
- It’s Tough: If you need new flooring in a high-traffic area, durable porcelain tile is perfect.
- It’s Easy to Clean: With regular spot cleaning and vacuuming, your porcelain floor will always look incredible.
- It Lasts: Porcelain resists water damage, fire damage, staining, bacteria, and odors. It won’t scratch easily and comes in all kinds of colors, shapes, and styles.

How to Clean Porcelain Tiles
Porcelain tiles are more delicate than you may think. They have a protective coating on them that can be damaged by using harsh cleaning products. We recommend using MORE stone & tile cleaner for your kitchen tiles. The process of cleaning your tiles though is as follows:
- The Cleaning Solution: You should mix the ¼ cup of white vinegar with two gallons of water or purchase the MORE stone & tile cleaner as we recommend.
- Apply the Cleaning Solution: Use a sponge mop or soft cloth to apply the cleaning solution to your tiles. Then, rinse with plain water and dry it with a clean, soft or microfiber cloth.
It is a simple and easy process. You should regularly change out your cleaning solution when cleaning a large area of tile to prevent dirty mop water from building up in textured areas and the grout lines. Generally, you should clean your kitchen tiles every two weeks and your bathroom tiles every week for optimal results.
